The Los Perales-Las Mesetas blocks are located in the western San Jorge Basin, in the northern flank of Santa Cruz province. As with most fields in the basin, intensive infill drilling and water injection are crucial in managing production decline. Since 2017, the majority of associated gas is required for in-field use.
