Lundin hits new heights with Alta in the Norwegian Barents
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Lundin Petroleum has made a 200 mmbbl oil discovery called Alta, in the Loppa High area of the Barents. It is adjacent to its 2013 Gohta discovery, and 50 kilometres south of Johan Castberg. As it stands, a combined Alta/Gohta development would be marginal, but commercial based on our initial valuation. We value a joint-development at US$400m (NPV10), based on a standalone FPSO development, starting up in 2023.
