OML 16 was a very small onshore block located in the northcentral part of the Niger Delta. The block was the smallest within the NNPC/Shell Joint Venture (JV) and is bordered by the Shell-operated OML 21 to the west, and SEPLAT-operated OML 53 to the east.OML 16 contains the undeveloped Oguali and Ukpichi fields.
