Report summary
Pohokura is one of the main sources of domestic gas in New Zealand. The offshore gas-condensate field lies on a geological trend with the onshore Turangi and Mangahewa fields. Pohokura's development was accelerated after Maui's gas production peaked. The development includes a shallow water platform, and platform and extended-reach onshore wells connected to the onshore Pohokura production station in Motunui.
