Report summary
On 2 April 2015, Premier Oil (36%, and operator) announced a discovery at its Zebedee well in block PL004b, located in the Falkland (Malvinas) Islands. Zebedee is the first in a four-well exploration programme and targeted seven intervals. The well encountered 44 metres of net pay in the Zebedee and Hector sands suggesting 80-100 mmboe of discovered resources.The pre-drill Pmean resource estimate for all seven intervals was 282 mmboe. Other participants include Rockhopper (24%) and FOGL (40%).
