Q2 2024 pre-FID project tracker: Flurry of FPSO approvals

Report summary
Eleven projects have been sanctioned to date in 2024. The projects account for over US$30 billion of committed investment and over 3 billion boe of reserves. Deepwater FPSO projects in Latin America are leading the way. But more is to come from ADNOC's gas expansion projects in the Middle East, Eni's Coral Norte FLNG and more. We still expect the total committed investment to be over US$100 billion in 2024 from 35 projects.
