Tahoe (VK 783) is a medium-sized gas/condensate field located in the Viosca Knoll protraction area. First production was achieved in January 1994. It was developed via 19-kilometre (12-mile) subsea tie-backs to the north to Shell's Bud and Bud Lite facilities in Main Pass 252. Tahoe was Shell's first subsea production system in the Gulf of Mexico. The field produces mostly gas with associated condensate.
