Block 5 (Wadi Aswad) is located in western Oman, 275 kilometres from the capital Muscat. It is close to PDO's prolific Lekhwair field and adjacent to Occidental's Wadi Latham fields in Block 9. The area contains around six producing fields, Daleel, the Bushra fields, Mezoon, Shadi, Furat and Dahab - with the majority of production from Daleel.
