The West East II (WEII) Gas Pipeline project is a major strategic investment to meet China's growing gas demand and diversify its gas supply sources. The 4,978-kilometre trunkline runs from Horgos (or Huoerguosi), on China's border with Kazakhstan, to Guangzhou in Guangdong province.
