Report summary
Global propylene prices saw multi year highs, as supply disruptions and global low inventories have created the perfect scenario for price surges in Q4 2020. European and Asian producers continue to favor from healthy margins although global naphtha prices continues to strengthen, aided by oil prices which have a seen a notable recovery reaching $50/bbl in H1 December. The US market continues to be tight, as PDH disruptions have continued in Q4 2020, while propylene derivatives continue making a tremendous come back in the last two months of the year.
