Report summary
Fording River is a large metallurgical coal mine operated by EVR in southeastern British Columbia, part of the larger Elk Valley metallurgical coal mining complex. Out of Fording River, Glencore produces a low sulphur, medium volatile metallurgical coal to sell to international steelmaking customers. The mine has capacity to produce 9 Mt a year with over 300 Mt of reserves plus 1.5 billion tonnes of resource.
