North America gas weekly update: Henry Hub back on life support
Report summary
With heat moderating, July 2020 is no longer set to break the record for the hottest month ever. Yet it is still hot, and August looks likely to continue to trend above normal for temperatures. Yet Henry Hub is back on life support, barely above $1.65/mmbtu. It makes you wonder where gas prices would be if we had had a cool summer instead. The balances are struggling to tighten, even with record power demand levels.
