European TTF prices oscillated around $13/mmbtu in March. Talks on a ceasefire or peace agreement in the Russia-Ukraine conflict have stalled. The pace of European storage injections will be the critical driver for TTF as the market transitions to spring. While changes to European gas storage regulation will introduce more flexibility in the injection trajectory, the end-of-season targets still stand. Asian LNG prices, which traded at a discount to NW European LNG prices in February, reconnected in March with some additional tendering emerging for summer.
