The Russian Copper Company (RMK) is a dominant player in Russian copper and operates a number of copper mining, smelting and downstream subsidiaries in Russia and Kazakhstan. These include Karabash smelter, Kyshtym refinery, and a number of copper-zinc mines, including Ormet (Barsuchiy Log and Djusinskoe) and Aleksandrinsky.
