Open pit mining will utilise conventional truck and shovel open pit mining methods at an ore production rate of 21kt/d. Underground mining will utilise long hole open stoping methods at a full production rate of 3.2kt/d in 2026. Combined mine life is estimated at 14 years. The Rainy River mill is based on a carbon-in-pulp (CIP) leach circuit with an ore processing capacity of 9.4Mt/a. Once at peak capacity, gold production is estimated at around 289 thousand ounces per annum.
