Thalanga Restart copper mine
Report summary
The Thalanga restart project is located approximately 200km from Townsville and 65km from Charters Towers, in Northern Queensland. It is a polymetallic deposit that is to be mined utilising bench stoping followed by crushing, grinding and conventional differential flotation to produce separate copper, lead and zinc concentrates. First production commenced in Q4 2017 after commissioning activities in Q3.
