Alaska Gas Pipeline
Report summary
Alaska has long sought to commercialise its North Slope gas resources, located primarily at Prudhoe Bay and Point Thomson. The known 31 tcf of natural gas contained in these two fields far outstrips in-state demand. The North Slope producers, BP, ExxonMobil, and ConocoPhillips, completed pre-FEED activities for AK LNG in mid-2016 and decided to exit the project.
