Preliminary assessment suggests Repsol's Kali Berau Dalam gas discovery is the largest discovery in Indonesia for nearly two decades. Repsol and partners PETRONAS and MOECO expect to prove additional upside through further appraisal. Located near major gas infrastructure, the discovery is well-timed to take advantage of a coming supply gap, and could be the boost Indonesia's exploration sector has been looking for.
