LUKOIL buys 25% in Marine XII in Congo for US$800 million

On 6 June 2019 LUKOIL announced that it will acquire NewAge's 25% stake in the Marine XII block offshore Congo for US$800 million, cash. The shallow water acreage is operated by Eni which holds a 65% stake. Marine XII currently produces 28,000 b/d of oil and 60 mmcfd of gas from two fields: Nene and Litchendjili.
