Report summary
Operated by Future Minerals SARL, Bougouni is a lithium mineral project located in Sikasso, Mali. The project is currently at the feasibility stage, but environmental and mining permits are in place, and offtake and development agreements have been signed. Using open pit mining and conventional flotation processes, Bougouni is expected to produce 220ktpy of 6% Li2O spodumene concentrate, with exports occurring via the Port of San Pedro in neighbouring Côte d’Ivoire. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
