PNG LNG - upstream
Report summary
The Papua New Guinea LNG (PNG LNG) project is a two-train LNG development operated by ExxonMobil. Feed gas is sourced from several fields in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea (PNG). The liquefaction facility is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Papua, around 20 kilometres north of Port Moresby. A Final Investment Decision (FID) was taken on 8 December 2009 and the first LNG cargo departed in May 2014.
