Golak has 20 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry overseeing the full lifecycle of exploration and production companies. He joined Wood Mackenzie's Upstream research team in 2023, and is focuses on the Asia Pacific region.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Golak was Head of Exploration and New Ventures at Vega Petroleum Group for 12 years, and a manager with Essar Oil Limited's Strategies and New Ventures team prior to that.
