
Richard leads the development of Verisk Maplecroft’s environmental risk research. He is responsible for producing robust national and subnational datasets to help quantify environmental, climate change and natural hazard risks. He works closely with multinational companies and government agencies to deliver bespoke data-driven solutions that support their strategic and operational needs.
Prior to joining our team, Richard worked in academia, developing and interpreting future climate projections, communicating the risk posed by climate change to stakeholders across a range of sectors, and helping inform climate change adaptation strategies.
