
Matt joined Wood Mackenzie in November 2022 as a meteorologist/demand forecaster. He is now the primary forecaster for ERCOT, NYISO and NEISO and is responsible for making demand and renewable production forecasts. Matt also gives commentary and insights on potential weather-related risks and how they may impact the overall grid.
Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Matt worked as a storm warning meteorologist at Accuweather’s Severe Weather Headquarters in Wichita, Kansas. He live-monitored client assets issuing forecasts and site-specific weather warnings for the entirety of North America.
