Drawing on his experience in the renewable energy and finance industries, Sohaib manages Wood Mackenzie’s wind market research in Northern and Western Europe, the Middle East and South Africa. He is focused on market developments, future scenarios, supply chain dynamics and competitive strategies across the wind power value chain.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie in September 2017, Sohaib was the focal person for South Asia at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and contributed to technical assistance projects in Africa. He worked previously at the World Wind Energy Association and Askari Bank Ltd. as an analyst and a relationship manager, respectively.

Sohaib holds degrees in public policy, finance and economics.
