William joined Wood Mackenzie as principal analyst and manager of the Copper Mine Costs team in 2017. Alongside leading coverage of copper costs and project development work, he also coordinates our emissions benchmarking research across the mining sector. He has over 15 years’ experience analysing the metals markets from both research and consultancy perspectives, with a primary focus on mining and intermediate materials.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, William spent twelve years at GFMS Limited and subsequently as Mining Research Director at Thomson Reuters William. There, he was responsible for research content and delivery of the group’s global production, mining costs, marketing and producer hedging issues across the precious metals sector, as well as base and ferrous metals.
