
Arnold began his professional journey in the oil and gas sector, gaining valuable experience in the production and processing of these resources. As his career progressed, he made a pivotal shift towards promoting cleaner energy solutions, specializing in carbon capture and storage and renewable energy. Notably, he has contributed to the field through his published research on carbon capture and storage.
Currently, Arnold leads Wood Mackenzie's North America Short-Term Power MISO desk. In this role, he develops strategy and analyzes operational and financial risk for clients, including traders, hedge funds, banks, utilities, asset managers, and wholesalers transacting in the daily markets, to improve asset and portfolio optimization decisions.
