Johann Schmid

With decades of consulting and energy industry experience, Johann excels at guiding our consulting team through even the most challenging engagements.

Johann is a vice president in the performance improvement practice of our consulting team. Based in Mexico City, he has spent more than 20 years in the oil and gas industry, with most of that time focused on strategy and operations consulting.

Johann joined Wood Mackenzie in 2017. Since that time, he has spearheaded numerous optimization strategy, benchmarking and other key projects for major players in the energy industry.

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Johann was managing director of Accenture Strategy Energy and vice president for Schlumberger Business Consulting (SBC).
