Marcelo joined the Upstream Research team in March 2019, based in Rio de Janeiro, taking care of the upstream content for Latin America.

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Marcelo worked for Shell and BG for 17 years in Asia, Brazil, Caribbean, Russia and West Africa, in a variety of finance, commercial, and petroleum economics roles that covered upstream (onshore, shelf, and deep water) and midstream assets.
